He departed this earthly life on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Agape Hospice House of the Midlands. Zyrie was an amazing child, full of life and loved helping others. He inspired others to be more caring and thankful for everyday of their lives. Despite all the things he endured, Zyrie still remained humble and kept a smile on his face everyday. He loved everything about life, and everyone that were put in his life. Zyrie had the power to make you forget all of your troubles, because he was faced with a bit more than anyone could imagine. Zyrie loved cooking, and would sit for hours watching cooking shows so that he could think of new recipes and make new dishes. He also loved collecting and building anything you could imagine. Zyrie was a prime example of what greatness looked like and much more. Those left to cherish his fond and precious memories are: his mother, Samantha Sanders and Step-mother, Clinique Goodwin; his sister, Samantha Sanders; brother, Amon Smith; grandparents, Teresa Sanders-Hopkins and Lyndon Hopkins; his nana, Ruby Anderson; aunts, Lakriesh Anderson, Monique Jackson, Naomi Roberts, all of Columbia, SC; uncle, Terry McGriff, of Charlotte, NC; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
