Ms. Jacqueline Bell

Ms. Jacqueline Bell, 68 of McCormick, South Carolina has entered into eternal rest on January 31, 2026 at Lexington Medical Center. She was born December 21, 1957 in Clinton, South Carolina. From a young age, she loved the Lord and found joy in praising Him and attending church. As the oldest sibling, Jacqueline naturally stepped into a nurturing role and was like a second mother to them. Jacquelinee was a hard worker her entire life. She began working at just 12 years old, cooking and cleaning in people's homes, a testament to her strong work ethic and dedication. Later, she met the love of her life, the late Henry Bell, whom she married at age 16. They shared thirty-six years of marriage until death parted them. At the age of 21, Jacqueline recommitted her life to God and was baptized at Hebron Baptist Church in Clinton, South Carolina. Her faith was not only something she believed in, but something she lived out daily. Throughout her life, many remember Jacqueline as a prophetic woman of God. She often anointed her loved ones by crossing their foreheads with oil and praying over them, covering her family in faith, love and strength. She went on to work as a florist, bringing beauty and joy to others through her work at Flower Bakery, Disoz-O-Plastics Company Inc., and Torrington. Jacqueline was many things to many people. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother, a caring sister, a supportive aunt, a praying grandmother, a cherished great-grandmother, and a spiritual covering for her family and community. She was a devoted mother to her three daughters, Melissa Bell, Regina Bell, and Christine Bell; grandchildren, Jakyah Bell, Jaboris Bell, Jizayah Bell, Annoint'cee ell, Jatavia Bell, Kinvision Bell, Malcolm Simmons, Quindaysia Bell, and Henry Thomas; four great-grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 8, 2026 at A. A. Dicks Funeral Home, 6400 North Main Street, Columbia, South Carolina 29203. Interment to follow in the Promised Land Cemetery. Pastor Jesse R. Thompson, officant. Public viewing will be held from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m., Saturday, February 7, 2026 and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service, Sunday, February 8, 2026 at A.
