Mr. JaCory Derrell Page

JaCory "Jay-Jay" Derrell Page, made his earthly debut on June 16, 1989 in Fort Jackson, South Carolina, to proud parents, Doretha and Darryl Page. God, in His infinite wisdom and divine love, called him from our midst to begin his eternal rest and join his son, JaShaun "Tonka" Allen Page on December 21, 2022. JaCory was a student of the Richland District Two school system. After high school, he matriculated to Job Corps and proudly graduated as the Valedictorian of his class. He was a dedicated employee at Honey Baked Ham from 2011 until God called him home. JaCory was a very loving and inspirational person. He was fiercely devoted to his family. He spent his time caring for his mother, working, and building a solid foundation for himself and his family. Oh, how JaCory loved his sports! A talented rapper with an incredible flow, he passionately expressed his creativity through his music. He loved to eat, however, he was a very picky eater. JaCory and Shawana welcomed their second child, Aiyah Rosie Page, on September 1, 2022. Lovingly, they were always in competition with each other- trying to fight for all of Aiyah’s attention. A proud dad, JaCory made it well known that he was going to be wrapped around his baby girl’s fingers. JaCory is preceded in death by his son, JaShaun "Tonka" Page; a brother, TyJuan Page; maternal grandparents, Ervin and Della Fox; paternal grandfather, Jonah Page. JaCory leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter, Aiyah Rosie Page; his devoted girlfriend, Shawana Owens of 10 years; bonus son, Nehemiah; his beloved parents, Doretha Fox Page and Darryl (Valerie) Page; brothers, LaDarryl (Ursula) Page, Terrence (Ashlee) Page; a sister, Candice (Victor) Joseph; his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Page, and an amazing host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. The Page family acknowledges with grateful appreciation, all of your kind expressions of love and sympathy. Funeral service will be 12 noon, Friday, December 30, 2022 at Friendship Baptist Church, 1237 House Street, Columbia, South Carolina 29204. Reverend A. A. Dicks, Sr., Pastor, Pastor Arnie Page, officiating. Interment to follow in the Promised Land Cemetery. Public viewing will be held from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2022 and 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 30, 2022 at A. A. Dicks Funeral Home Sullivan Chapel.
