Miss Euri Zaiyda Joseph

Euri Zaiyda Joseph was born on December 10, 1998, in Daytona Beach, Florida to Stacey Loulouse Joseph and Anthony Augustus Serieux. Beloved by many and cherished by all who knew her, Euri passed away on April 4, 2024 at the age of 25. Throughout her life, Euri exemplified courage, perseverance, and a boundless spirit that touched the lives of everyone around her. She leaves behind a legacy of remarkable achievements and unwavering compassion. In 2019, Euri achieved a significant milestone by winning gold medals in the Special Olympics, showcasing her dedication, skill, and determination. Her three gold medals not only brought pride to her loved ones but also inspired countless others with disabilities to pursue their dreams fearlessly. Known for her generosity and empathy, Euri Joseph volunteered her time and talents in various capacities. From performing karaoke at the Cancer Awareness event in Daytona Beach, Florida in 2014, to serving at the North Main Branch of Richland Library of Columbia, South Carolina in 2023, under the guidance of Sunni Peterson, Euri Zaiyda Joseph embodied the true spirit of altruism and community service. In 2020, Euri Zaiyda Joseph further demonstrated her creative flair and passion for storytelling by authoring the inspiring book, 'Trisomy 21 Texting Stories.' Through her writing, Euri shared valuable insights and experiences, offering hope and encouragement to individuals with similar relationship challenges. While a devout member of Restoration Ministries International in Augusta, Georgia, Euri found joy and solace in praise dancing, using her talents to uplift congregants and spread messages of faith and love. She also sang during praise and testimony time at Greater Faith United Missionary Baptist Church. Additionally, she generously shared her spiritual wisdom by reading bible verses for the Ready Bride Devotional videos on the Stacey Loulouse YouTube channel. In addition to her numerous accomplishments, Euri Zaiyda Joseph was also multilingual, familiar with the Spanish language, which further enriched her interactions and connections with people from diverse backgrounds. Euri Zaiyda Joseph will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Though she may no longer be with us in person, her spirit will live on in the memories and hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. A celebration of Euri's life will be held 2:00 p.m., April 10, 2024 at Greater Faith United Missionary Baptist Church where friends and loved ones will gather to honor and remember the remarkable legacy she leaves behind.
