Mr. Walter Lee Johnson

April 15, 1975 - July 8, 2019

Mr. Walter Lee Johnson, was born on April 15, 1975. Walter transitioned to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 8, 2019 surrounded by family at Prisma Health Richland Hospital. Walter was educated in the Public Schools of Richland County and graduated from C. A. Johnson High School. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church of House Street. Walter was a hard-worker and played even harder. Whenever you spoke with him, he would always be very courteous. He was outgoing, helpful, and just a loving person. Most of all, Walter could cook! His most delicious dish was fried pork chop and rice and gravy. His smile will be missed by those he met. Walter Johnson leaves to cherish and celebrate his life: Her loving and devoted mother, Emma Johnson; grandmother, Bennie R. Johnson; his aunts, Chestine Shell, Lila Patterson, Arlena Albert, Shirley L. Reynolds; uncles, Willie Lee Johnson, Allen Mance and Leroy Porterfield; a daughter, Shantavia Johnson; two grandchildren, Trinity Johnson-Manigo and Khaliah Johnson-Manigo; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. The Johnson family acknowledges with grateful appreciation all your prayers and condolences. Thank you for helping us care for our families. A. A. Dicks, Sr. and Staff
