Funeral services for Ms. Trynee Ebony Thomas will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church, 1237 House Street, Columbia, SC 29204. Ms. Trynee Ebony Thomas was born March 11, 1977 in Hopewell, Virginia to Carter Eugene Thomas and the late Gwendolyn Marie Tindal Thomas. She received her eternal wings on Friday, December 3, 2021. Trynee graduated from Lower Richland High School with the Class of 1995, and furthered her education and became a graduate of Lander University in Greenville, SC where she obtained her degree in Education. Ms. Thomas was a beloved math teacher for over eighteen years. Trynee was initiated in the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Lambda Lambda Chapter at Lander University on December 9, 2001. She was preceded in death not only by her mother but, by her brother, Carter E. Thomas, II and her grandmother, Mary C. Dowery. Left to cherish precious memories are: her loving son, Brandon E. King, Columbia, SC; father, Carter E. Thomas, Hopkins, SC; sister, Latonya Tindal, Columbia, SC; three nieces, Indya Tindal, DeAsia Tindal and Iyanna Tindal; two nephews, Trevon Tindal and Javarri Madison; five great neices and nephews and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
