Ms. Sandra Johnson Taylor

Ms. Sandra Johnson Taylor 69, of Columbia, South Carolina entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 19, 2016. A. A. Dicks Funeral Home Sullivan Chapel, 2548 Main Street, Columbia is in charge of these services. Ms. Sandra Laverne Carolyn Johnson Taylor, was born August 31, 1946 in Columbia, South Carolina to the late James Sewell and Dorothy Elizabeth Johnson. At an early age, Sandra joined Bible Way Church of Christ where she was an active and faithful member for many years until she was unable. "Cookie", as she was affectionately known, graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1963 and worked in the health care field for the Richland Memorial and Providence Hospitals until her health declined. Sandra became "Mother Cookie" to everyone that crossed her path. Ms. Taylor was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Taylor, her parents and grandparents, Francis and Matilda Johnson. Left to cherish precious memories are two daughters, Arnetta L. Taylor and Sharon R. (Shaun) Alcorn; a son, Leroy V. (JoAn) Dreher; thirteen grandchildren, Michael, Brittany, Reginald, LaSonya, Da'Vante, Michelle, Ra'Shawn, Mecedes, Shamar, Destinee, Joshshay, Malik and Chyna-Rose; eight great grandchildren, Khalil, Re'dasia, Jaylen, DeAsia, Tania, Da'Vantia, Jackson and De'Amya; an aunt, Mary Frances Harrison; an uncle, Odell L. Johnson; three special cousins, Deborah Washington, Thomas C. Harrison, Jr. and Larry G. Harrison; two special friends, Barbara Simmons and Sarah McKie and a host of nieces, nephews, other cousins, loving relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
