Ms. Rosa Lee Parker

Ms. Rosa Lee Parker, daughter of the late Essie Mae Kelley Parker and Milon Parker, entered into this world on January 11, 1949 in Richland County, Columbia, South Carolina, She entered into peaceful rest on June 9, 2022 at the Richland Memorial Heart Center. Ms. Rosa also affectionately called Momma Rose and Ro Lee was educated in the public school ( Booker T. Washington) of Columbia, South Carolina. She was employed at Granby and Pacific Mills of Columbia for many years until her retirement. Ms. Rosa was very well known with a small circle of friends, who loved her dearly, she was loved and will be missed by everyone that she came in contact with. Ms. Rosa was preceded in death by a son, Melvin Parker, Parents and brother, Milon Parker Jr. Left to cherish her sweet and precious memories are; one daughter, Andriane Parker of Columbia, South Carolina; four sons, Anthony Yana Parker, Andrew Parker both of Columbia, South Carolina, James (Main) Parker of Morristown, Tennessee and Jeffery (Sarbia) Parker of Charlotte, North Carolina, one sister, Bertha Thomas of Sumter, South Carolina, ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren, two nephews and three nieces and a host of great nieces and nephews , cousins and other loving relatives. Funeral service will be held 12 Noon, Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at A. A. Dicks Funeral Home Sullivan Chapel, 2548 Main Street, Columbia, South Carolina 29201. Interment to follow in The Promised Land Cemetery. Public Viewing will be from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at A. A. Dicks Funeral Home, 2548 Main Street, Columbia, South Carolina 29201.
