Mr. Robert Green

December 10, 1942 - February 24, 2022

Robert Green was born December 10, 1942 in Eastover, SC. He was the 6th child of the late Alexander and Adeline "Daisy" Finch Green. He was educated in the public school district of Richland County, where he attended Webber High School. After high school, he enlisted into the US Army, where he fought in the Vietnam War. He served until he was honorably discharged in 1969. At an early age, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. His career was in the produce industry. He was employed at Colonial Stores, Piggly Wiggly, and RC McEntire Produce until his retirement. He provided free fresh fruit and vegetables to the community. Robert enjoyed spending time with family and watching Gamecock football. He wanted his family to be the best they could be.
