Public veiwing is Tuesday, February 26,2019 from noon until 8 PM at the funeral home. Ny’gia Annette Klines, affectionately known as Gia Gia, graced this world on December 30, 1999 in Manhattan, New York to the loving parents of Anita Jordan and William Klines. She transitioned unexpectedly into the arms of God on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 in Cayce, SC. Ny’gia began her early education in the public schools of New York City until her family relocated to South Carolina. With all ambition, she excelled in her education by graduating with honors and recognition from C.A. Johnson High School. During her school , she participated and attended numerous activities. Her willingness to learn and excel in school was heightened by the passion of her teachers. Her focus was to make her family proud; especially her dad. Ny’gia, a young thriving lady, was on the move to “become a power for good in this twenty-first century.” She began her college experience at Benedict College, where she majored in psychology. Ny’gia embodied black girl magic that inspired youth all around her through church and community. She was employed at various establishments throughout Columbia. Never allowing herself to be a victim of her environment, she found a way to climb to the top and soar. Growing up in a faith-based home, Ny’gia experienced the true power of the Lord. Reaffirming her faith in 2011, she became a member of Friendship Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor A.A. Dicks Sr. During her Christian pilgrimage at Friendship, she was a part of the youth ministry where she sang faithfully on the youth choir and participated in all the youth events. Ny’gia displayed her true love for the Lord in all her doings. When time allowed, she also sang and participated in the youth ministry, young adult, and College Ministry at Second Nazareth Baptist Church. Ny’gia, gifted and talented, brought laughter and joy to all she interacted with . Loving to tell jokes, no matter the situation, she found humor and made everyone smile. Her famous statement, “why so serious?” is one she will be remembered by. Ny’gia loved sports and was a protector of those she loved because she never met a stranger with her contagious smile. With sadness she leaves to mourn her passing, but cherish her memories, her father William Klines of Columbia, SC and her mother Anita Jordan from Bronx, NY. Her paternal grandmother Ollie A. Kizer of Columbia, SC; maternal grandfather, McAuthur Jordan; Four Siblings Michael and Samaria Jordan and Allen and Nereida Nance. Three Aunts: Karen Klines of Bronx NY, Latoya LeGare and Letita Klines of Columbia SC. One Uncles Rev. Edward K. Taylor of Columbia, SC. A host of cousins, relatives, and close friends.
