Mr. Micheal Darryl Mack

March 10, 1960 - April 9, 2022

Michael Darryl Mack, affectionately known as “Mike” was born March 10, 1960, in Columbia, South Carolina, to Juanita Williams Mack and the late Milton Mack. He entered into eternal rest on April 9, 2022 at his home. Mike attended the public schools of Richland County and graduated from Eau Claire High School, in 1978. He attended South Carolina State College. In 1979, he was the marching band’s head drummer. Mr. Mack served briefly and honorably in the United States Army. Mike graduated from NEL Truck Driver Training School. Most recently, he worked as a construction worker. Mr. Mike loved his family and was a true and loyal Dallas Cowboys fan. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Milton Mack, Sr.; his step father, John Knotts and nine siblings, Miles Mack, Anthony Patterson, Ronnie Mack, Carol Mack, Loretta Lake Mack, Marvin B. Mack, Milton Mack, Jr., Pinckney Mack and Richard Mack. Michael is survived by his son, Micgueal Dixon, a daughter, Kristy Bethel; his loving mother, Juanita Williams Mack; sisters, “Shell” and “Cookie” Mack; grandchildren, Caliuah Bethel, Mikea Bryant, Bobbi Dixon, and Ava Dixon; a sister-in-law Patricia Mack and a host of other relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly. Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at A. A. Dicks Funeral Home Sullivan Chapel, 2548 Main Street, Columbia, SC 29201. Pastor A. A. Dicks, Sr., officiating. Interment to follow in The Promised Land Cemetery. Public Viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Monday, April 18, 2022 at A. A. Dicks Funeral Home, 2548 Main Street, Columbia, SC 29201.
