Ms. Julia Rose Rembert
March 27, 1953 - December 22, 2015
Ms. Rembert was born March 27, 1953 in Fort Mill, SC to Elijah Peoples and the late Katherine Floyd Peoples but, was reared by Lucinda Peoples. "JuRow", as she was affectionately known by family, attended the Spartanburg School for the Deaf and Blind. She was a sweet, hardworking women who gave Johnson's Food Service of Fort Jackson, twelve years of dedicated service. Ms. Rembert was a member of Central Baptist Church and The National Federation for the Blind. Ms. Rembert was preceded in death by her mother and husband, Carson Rembert. Left to cherish precious memories are: her children, Peggy (Fredrick) Heatley, Jason and Jennifer Rembert; grandchildren, Cyrus Murray, Jr. and Jason Rembert, Jr.; sisters, Annie Peoples, Frances (Larry) Davis, Patricia (Jerome) and Diane (Reggie) Strothers, Cindy Peoples, Robin and Mya Ford and Tearse Steels; brothers, Bobby (Wanda), Willie (Joyce), Elijah (Nancy) and Anthony Peoples, Frankie (Edith) Spratt, Edward (Mary) and Willie A. Strothers, Jr. and Ricky Miller; a special cousin, Peggy Tyler; companion, Todd Whaley; friends, Harriett D. Tucker and Cassandra Thompson, best friends, Dorothy Barksdale and Sharon Hayes; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
