Ms. Jenice Richardson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

There will be a public viewing Friday November 8, 2019 from 1:30 P.M to 7:00 P.M at A. A. Dicks Funeral Home ~ 2548 Main Street ~ Columbia, SC 29201 Funeral Services will be held Saturday November 9, 2019 at 1:30 P.M at New Light Beulah Baptist Church ~ 1330 Congaree Road ~ Hopkins, SC 29061 Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery Ms. Jenice Richardson was born in Columbia, South Carolina on January 2, 1958 to the late John Albert and Cornelia Shiver Richardson. She departed this life on October 30, 2019 to be with the Lord. Ms. Richardson was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Herman Richardson. Jenice was educated in the public schools of Richland County, South Carolina and was a 1976 graduate from Dreher High School. Jenice attended the School of Cosmetology and enlisted in the United States Army where she served her country honorably. She was employed with the University of South Carolina School of Medicine as a security officer for over thirty years. Left to cherish precious memories are: three sons, Tony (Tionia) Richardson of Columbia, South Carolina, Vernon “Tyson” (Danielle) Richardson of Charlotte, North Carolina and Staff Sergeant Darius Richardson of the United States Air Force; a daughter, Ms. Ashley Boyd; seven grandchildren, Tony, Jr., Kayla, Kamden, Ariel, Tyler, Elijah and Olivia; three brothers, Larry (Brenda), Alfonzo and Marvin Richardson all of Columbia, South Carolina; two nieces, Amber and Aleecya Richardson; two nephews, Adam Briggs and Orlando Reeves; a host of cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
