Ms. Ashley Janeisha Evans

Ashley Ja'neisha Evans was born September 18, 1986 to Bertha LaTonya Watson and Johnny Edward Patterson. She departed this life on March 14, 2022. Ashley was a 2004 graduate of Eau Claire High School. Prior to her illness, she was employed by Southeast Transportation. Ashley was a faithful member of Ridgewood Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family. She was also a loving, caring, an compassionate young woman. Ashley demonstrated tremendous strength and tenacity throughout the many years of her illness. She relied on her faith in God to see her through her numerous hospitalizations and surgeries. She is survived by her parents; sisters, Shinone Ronnica Evans, Viola Ravenelle, Jessica Hillary and La Tonya Hillary; a brother, Keone Johnelle Evans; aunts Nancy E. Reed, Cornelia E. Palmer, Yvonne Patterson, Stephanie Green and Maria Mitchell; uncles, Johnny Geter Jr., Cleveland Palmer, Reggie Hayes, Cleveland Hayes, David Taylor and Andrew Evans; a special cousin, Shaquwant Patterson; a niece Sanori Griffith; two nephews, Camuary Griffith and Caylin Griffith and host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Ridgewood Missionary Baptist Church, 5326 Ridgeway Street, Columbia, South Carolina 29203, Reverend Fred W. Coit, pastor, officiating. Public Viewing will be held from 12 Noon until 6:00 P.M. Friday, March 18, 2022 at A. A. Dicks Funeral Home Sullivan Chapel, 2548 Main Street, Columbia, South Carolina 29201.
