She was the beloved daughter of Daisy Lee English and Charles Herman English. She departed this life on January 11, 2021 at Midlands Rehabilitation Center, in Columbia, SC. Rose was educated in the public schools of Richland County District One, and graduated from Eau Claire High School. She spent many years working in retail at Wal Mart and home healthcare. Rose loved her family dearly. She was a stubborn, hard-headed, caring and loving person. She had a straight forward mindset, and was loved and respected by all she met. There was nothing she wouldn’t fight with you about, before helping you with it later. She didn’t believe in making things easy on you! Rose loved dancing and singing, even when she wasn’t the best at it. She always tried to keep up with social media, puzzle books, and being on her phone. She loved Facebook and snacks. Rose will be greeted at the gates by her grandparents, Charles Delaney and Rosa Lee Delaney; her sister, Bessie Denise English and brother, Tyrone Antonio English. Those left to cherish her precious memories are: her mother, Daisy Delaney English and father, Charles English; her four children, Shanita English, Marquita English-Townes, Brandon English, Willetta “MeMe” English; a brother, Kelvin English; two sisters, Melissa Martin and Ashley English; eight grandchildren, Tayzonia, Kwamne, Mystique, Kemani, Kristan, Joshua, Mackenzie, Shamiya; a special friend, Henry Brooks; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, all of whom she loved dearly.
