Mr. Jerome David Harley

Mr. Jerome Harley, 47, of Columbia, South Carolina entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital. He was the son of Falecia Dukes Harley and the late Jerry Harley, born January 27, 1977. Jerome was educated in the public schools of Lexington County. He worked for Guinyard Bricks for four years. He was also employed with Southeastern Freight for eleven years. Jerome was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Mary Agnes Dukes and Clottie Harley; his grandfather, Willie Dukes; his brothers, LaShawn Harley; uncles, Robert Harley, Frank Dukes, and Walter Dukes; aunts, Hazel Dukes, Justine Muller, Dorothy Holloway, Geraldine Howell, and Rosalee Lowman. Jerome leaves to cherish love and precious memories; his wife, Larrie Harley; a daughter, Tamira Harley; a son, Jerome Harley, Jr. all of Gaston, SC; his mother, Falecia D. Harley of Columbia, SC; three brothers, Kelvin Dukes also of Columbia, SC, Jeffery Harley and Marvin Dukes both of Gaston, SC; a brother-in-love, Winston Gardner of Columbia, SC; seven uncles, Christopher (Sylvia) Harley, The Reverend Walter (Elaine) Harley both of Orangeburg, SC, Colie (Roberta) Harley of Kershaw, SC, Anthony (Angie) Harley of Swansea, SC, Athel Dukes, Eddie Dukes, Herbert Lee (Geneva) Leysath all of Columbia, SC; seven aunts, Vivian Dukes, Lorraine Dukes, and Ernestine (Wyman) Barton all of Columbia, SC, Toisy Mae (Jake) Howell of St. Matthews, SC, Gloria Ann Harley of Hopkins, SC, Lillie Bell Brunson of Swansea, SC and Elaine Dukes of Orangeburg, SC; father-in-law, Larry (Catherine) Riley of Gaston, SC; two brothers-in-law, Anthony (Sarah) Riley of Oklahoma and Jesse (Tameka) Riley of Gaston, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Calvary Holiness Church of God, 1635 Middle Street, Cayce, South Carolina 29033. Elder Micheal Jacobs, Pastor, The Reverend Walter Harley, officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Harley will lie in-state at the church one hour prior to the service time.
