A. A Dicks Funeral Home was referred to me back in 2009 by two Palmetto Health Hospice Nurses "Angela & Kim". Along with that referral came a story of compassion and outstanding service that stuck with me for several years. In 2014 when my grandmother became ill and I was given notice that I needed to make final arrangements I remembered that referral and gave A.A. Dicks funeral home a call. The day of my appointment, my grandmother's condition worsened so I had to call an cancel my appointment. While in the E.R. Pastor Dicks and Mrs. Kim Hunter stopped by to check on my family and offer a prayer.(Now I have my story of compassion to tell). What Pastor Dicks and Mrs. Hunter didn't know was the majority of my family was from another state and I was clueless on how to make funeral arrangements and scared of the thought of having to do everything alone. After that, unexpected but much needed, visit I knew my grandmother would be in good hands and I would have nothing to worry about. A.A. Dicks Funeral Home provided Outstanding service to my family A+++++.Thanks to Mrs. Kim Hunter My Grandmother looked Marvelous!!! I mean absolutely Marvelous!! The day of the viewing I couldn't feel sad because I could tell a lot of compassion went into my grandmother's preparation.
